Despite selling these tokens, Buterin has expressed his appreciation for meme coins that contribute to charitable causes. In a recent tweet, he mentioned, “I appreciate all the meme coins that donate portions of their supply directly to charity. Anything that gets sent to me gets donated to charity too.” Buterin disclosed that 10 billion Moodeng tokens from this sale would go towards anti-airborne-disease technology, advocating for meme coin projects to prioritize direct donations to charity.
