Binance CEO Richard Teng has reaffirmed his confidence in Bitcoin, calling it “the digital gold of our era.” Teng emphasized that Bitcoin’s scarcity, decentralization, and resilience have positioned it as a modern store of value, comparable to gold’s historic role in global finance.
Speaking at a blockchain industry event, Teng highlighted that institutional adoption, spot Bitcoin ETFs, and global recognition have solidified Bitcoin’s status as a foundational digital asset. He noted that while volatility remains, Bitcoin’s long-term trajectory continues to move toward greater stability and utility.
“Bitcoin represents financial freedom and technological innovation. It’s the digital gold of our time — borderless, transparent, and unstoppable,” Teng said.
Teng’s remarks come amid renewed optimism in the crypto market, as Bitcoin continues to trade near record highs and institutional inflows reach unprecedented levels.
