Bitget Exchange Surpasses 45 Million Users Globally, Sees 400% Growth Since 2023

Bitget, a leading crypto exchange, has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 45 million registered users worldwide, marking a staggering 400% growth since 2023. Announcing the milestone on Wednesday as part of its sixth anniversary, Bitget’s rapid expansion has propelled the exchange to become the fourth-largest globally by trading volume.

The company attributed this explosive growth to “continuous innovation, enhanced user experience, and a strong commitment to security.” Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, emphasized that the platform’s success is a result of cutting-edge technology, strong security measures, and easy-to-use smart crypto solutions that cater to the growing CeDeFi ecosystem.

“We are proud of the 45 million users on our exchange, wallet, and Web3 services, which reflect the strength of our ecosystem,” said Chen.

Global Expansion and Regional Growth

Bitget’s user base saw particularly impressive growth in key regions, with an astounding 1,614% growth rate in Africa, 729% in South Asia, and 216% in Southeast Asia in 2024. The platform also experienced a 50% increase in traffic and recorded a net asset inflow of $700 million in the first half of 2024.

Blockchain analyst Colin Wu noted that recent TON projects played a significant role in attracting users, especially in these regions.

Trading Volume and Token Performance

Bitget’s daily trading volume has consistently exceeded $10 billion, with monthly visits surpassing 30 million. During the first half of 2024, the platform’s net asset inflow reached $779 million. Notably, Forbes recognized Bitget’s native token, BGB, as one of the top ten best-performing cryptocurrencies in the first half of the year.

Additionally, Bitget launched several innovative products, including PoolX and pre-market trading, which have helped drive earnings by embarking on 60 new projects in just three months.

Commitment to Social Responsibility

Bitget has also remained committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through initiatives such as #Blockchain4Youth, which has brought blockchain education to over 13,000 students across 60 universities.

As part of its sixth-anniversary celebration, Bitget launched a special anniversary page featuring contests and prizes for its growing user base. This ongoing success underscores Bitget’s growing influence in the global cryptocurrency market.
